So, the other day, I remembered that I had started this blog. Oops. I gave up.

As we have hit a rough patch with our grocery budget, I now wish that I had not given up on food storage when we moved to the new house two years ago. Oddly, I had more stored at the 900 sq ft house, than I ever have had at the 2000 sq ft house. We are sorely lacking in the storage space here, so I gave up the fight. I had some ideas, but I gave up instead.

There is a lot going on, that has gotten me thinking that I need to start over. So, here I am. Today, I looked around at my options in the house and need to first get some shelving units. I cannot function by stashing here and there. That makes me crazy and I can't do it.

So, my plan is to put two units in a utility closet in the bathroom and several in our large laundry room. That seems a simple thing," but of course the laundry room". My laundry room is the MOST inefficient use of space on the planet. It is a huge room at aprox. 14 ft by 10 ft, but the washer and dryer are opposite each other on the 14 ft wall, but a foot or two away from the 10 ft wall. There are windows and two doors that are in the middle of three walls and it is poorly insulated. It has potential, but it would be amazing at actually move the washer and/or the dryer.

I also, just printed "What do I have?" lists, put them in page protectors in a binder.
I am ready to begin.

Then I flipped over to a minimalist blog that puts out weekend reads and I DID NOT panic or stress. I do believe this can work, the battle is all in my head and I need make the two ideas agree with one other.
